Snowy
If you know me at all, you know I just couldn't resist this beady-eyed snowman paper from MME called Merry.
I used it for a couple sketches featured on Artful Delight's Blog called Delightful Inspiration. This is actually the layout sketch, but you know I make cards so here you go.
This one is for the card sketch which I turned on the side. The 6 x 6 pad is good to use for cards because the scale of the pattern is smaller.
I really like this recently acquired red, pink and white twine and thought it would make a cute tiny tassel and that it would go nicely with the little flag strips.
Two more to stamp, tuck and send off to Operation Write Home. Do you recognize the words that are on the background paper?
I love the beady eyes, Annette! They cards are lovely and so fun... I always enjoy looking at the finished product... so much inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThe "Twas the Night Before Christmas" paper is so clever! I think this is the first time I've seen a tassel made from twine; I'll have to remember that trick. Thanks for showing the versatility of this week's Sunday Sketch!
ReplyDeleteYour tassel is perfect...love your take on the sketch! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteVery cute cards. I love the little tassel as well and will have to remember that little trick.
ReplyDeleteOh cute paper! I love it! Way to make that sketch your own! You did a fantastic job! Someone will really love those darling little snowmen.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, bright and cheery. I love how you made the tassel. Good thinking.
ReplyDeleteThey're all so darling! I love that you flipped the sketch (partly because I did, too, lol), and making the tassel was a super idea! I'm definitely going to remember that because sometimes twine, while great, just doesn't seem enough. I also love the pink, which I'm starting to like on Christmas cards a lot.
ReplyDeleteAnnette these are adorable! I love the mix of papers in each one. I really like the OWH card flipped and the cute tassle. Clever idea I might have to borrow. :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I love that paper pad, too!
