Finishing Strong Blog Hop
I am joining Operation Write Home in their Finishing Strong Blog Hop this Memorial Day Weekend. Click HERE to start hopping!
"Operation Write Home, a charity that has supported heroes with handmade cards since 2007, will be closing later this year. All cards need to be sent in by August 1st, so I’m helping to get the word out!”
I really like the fun Flying By stamp set from Lawn Fawn so I made a card with Red, White & Blue paper airplanes. A card like this could be used as a Love Card, my favorite or a Missing You card.
I popped up the airplanes with some foam tape and embossed the die cut cloud to add a little texture.
Hope you can hop with us!

Flying by to say hi
What to do when you receive embellishments that are way too thick for a normal OWH card?
Use it for an AnyHero card! {What is an AnyHero Card?}
I had so much fun making the little paper airplanes, I made another card.

Primarily Missing You
This month's ODBD Challenge is to use Primary Colors in making a card for Operation Write Home. I really like the font style for this sentiment. Thought if I mounted it on a square that was a little askew, it would keep the card from looking too boxy.
Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper ~ My Stash
Blue Cardstock ~ Bazzill Basics
OWH Brave Limited Stamp Set ~ Simon Says Stamp
Onyx Black Versafine Pigment Ink ~ Tsukineko

OWH Red Friday Blog Hop
Operation Write Home is having a Red Friday Blog Hop to support our nation’s heroes with love from home! I made a card using a sentiment from one of the fundraiser stamp sets OWH Brave. This is the first time I tried the mirror image stamping technique. I had to look thru the backside of the stamp to line up the die to cut it properly. I think it came out pretty well.
I wanted to make the foxes look like they were in the woods, so I embossed the brown paper and popped up the tree trunks. Be sure to check out the list of blogs on the hop for some inspiration. Send in a few cards that meet the guidelines.
Supplies Used:
OWH Brave Limited Stamp Set ~ Simon Says Stamp
Joy to the Woods Stamp & Die Set ~ Lawn Fawn
Tuxedo Black Dye Ink ~ Memento
Versafine Pigment Ink ~ Tsukineko

I am joining in on the Operation Write Home November ODBD Challenge this month where the card is to feature a heart.
I used the flatten feature on my Cricut Explore along with my printer to get this sentiment label. I popped it up over some fun May Arts ribbon to help make it stand out.
Let me know if you join in on the challenge.

Cutting Edge Blog Hop
I'm participating in the Cutting Edge Blog Hop hosted by Pretty Pink Posh! They are so kind that they are letting me participate even though I don't have any of their dies, yet!
I used the Tri Square Craft Die in a little bit different way than it is laid out. Normally the squares are all in a line but I wanted the windows for the bears to look far apart. My son just moved out on his own and I wish he weren't so far away!
I popped the bears' heads up a little so they would look a little 3 dimensional.
Supplies Used:
Tri Square Craft Die ~Simon Says Stamp
Circle Friends Stamp Set ~Simon Says Stamp
Die Inks ~Hero Arts
Patterned Paper ~My Mind's Eye
Red Cardstock ~Bazzill
